Dean is leading the work on how grazing management interacts with carbon projects – grazing and regeneration can work hand in glove, for the benefit of both. Dean is CEO of Select Carbon.

We ran a project on Bullara Station in the Upper Gascoyne to improve heifer fertility & calving rates via nutritional ‘flushing’ with improved land management.

DIET ID

We are testing a new method called 'DNA metabarcoding’ to describe the composition of the diet selected by rangeland livestock that graze a diverse mixture of plants in the landscape

A new booklet has been published, co-written by Dr Jason Emms (South Australia) and Dean Revell, to guide landholders on how to successfully establish and use shrub-pasture mixes for grazing livestock.

A number of farmers in the wheatbelt of Western Australia tested the use a number of forage shrub species to address they local issues.

We were involved in MIG's North South Beef Alliance, to add value to the beef supply chain by building partnerships with cattle producers from northern pastoral areas and farmers in southern agricultural regions of WA.
