MALLEE CMA
A new booklet has been published, co-written by Dr Jason Emms (South Australia) and Dean Revell, to guide landholders on how to successfully establish and use shrub-pasture mixes for grazing livestock.
The 9-year Enrich project (Future Farm Industries CRC), which involved researchers and farmers across southern Australia, developed a series of principles and practices to incorporate Australian perennial shrubs into the feed base for grazing livestock.
This new booklet highlights the key 'how-to' steps of
- selecting the right shrub species
- establishing the shrubs and pasture
- and grazing management
